The wave Never Ends in The West- Tribefesta
Chicago sprouts new artists every day, but none of them like the westside. there's just something different they offer that others don't. I might be biased because of being born from there, but having to be completely honest you can't say the westside has been swarming the music scene, I'd say as early as Lupe Fiasco and even down the line to Lud Foe, El Hitta and other honorable mentions such as Sicko Mobb, Heavy Steppers or even Pronto Spazzout, There are many other but here are just a few. We have all seen how the direction of music shifts and quite frequently, it never really ever stays the same. Things come and go such as trends. Lets's talk about a new artist who is going to be the next big star in Chicago. Yes! I know we can't throw that around loosely but this is just my opinion. This artist goes by the name of Oso Mall, who comes off as an all-around artist who just wants to make it to put on for the city and fam, His sound may have a lot of autotune but you can definitely tell he goes about it in a different way, in others words it's not overbearing. He started just a little over a year ago and is gradually getting to where he wants to be. Chicago scene can be brutal, sometimes even cut thought or as most would say sometimes, crabs in a barrel but I think he can manage. Oso Mall Just released a track called Broken which speaks on broken hearts due to Chicago's tragic stories with gun violence and experiences. That's not all though, this track will soon also come with a remix feature by an artist that goes by the name of Luxxo, who is a New York native, so definitely be on the lookout for that. That's not the only feature he has on the way, in addition, another track is coming soon called Slide ft. Blu SZN(link posted below). The artist is ready to hit us with the hits and take things further for his music career, and from talking to him he's got a fairly decent amount coming your way. I strongly encourage everyone not to sleep on this artist. This track right here is actually one of my favorites by him, it's definitely catchy and it kind of gives me club vibes. He's consistent enough to last in my opinion, I'm curious to see what he has planned next. As per usual I will add that he definitely should get to the visuals. If you liked this track might also like a couple of other track's by him called Blast Off and On The Move. Get in tune now before its too late. I look forward to seeing his progress and artist development. what would you like to see change or change from Oso Mall. He may be new but I feel he has a lot to offer. He has already been aired on the radio and I don't think he's stopping there. Right now I can't really compare him to anyone but as he grows im sure il be able to chime in more than.
