Tribefesta we're back with a new artist and he goes by the name of TommyGunTooley. The artist seems like he has a lot to bring to the scene and here are some reasons why.

I ask the artist a little about him and this is what he had to say.

..A visionary, TommyGunTooley aims to kill the modern day "rapper" image. No more trolling. No more colorful dreads and fake gangsters. Just real, raw lyrics and genuine emotion from the streets.

Off back I can already tell he's been through a lot and just wants the change the perception of how most artists are viewed. Especially when he referenced the trolling and colorful hair, I immediately thought of the rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine. As many of you know all of the trolling leads to his camp's downfall as well as himself in prison, so I get where he's coming from. Let's see if the artist can lead by example.

What drives you in making music:

What drives me is knowing that I actually have a story to tell. I'm about be 27 so I have a lot to talk about. Not just money, hoes, cars and clothes. My music is my art. I'm passionate about everything I'm involved with and I feel like it definitely shows in my music. I've been through hell and back a few times from heartbreak, prison and betrayal. My raps ain't all colorful.. But they also ain't all dark. I'm versatile and I really think I have what it takes to change the game and put some substance back in it.

His character speaks for itself and I think you guy's will like what he brings to the scene.

Be sure to check out his latest visual above Nobody Else shot by A Fly Visual. The song is as real as it gets, TommyGunTooley expresses real-life situations in a catchy way. I'm pretty sure people from Chicago or anywhere else can definitely relate to it. The theme of the song is based around loyalty and honesty in the life of a "lone wolf". This track is telling a story and It's a good listen. For more from the artist tune in as well as getting Intune with future music to come. He does have another project that was said to be released Monday, June 16th his second EP - Closer to God. Don't sleep!
