Ura Sensei with waves!

What's good Tribefesta, I hope everybody has been holding up through these dark times. I'm here to bring the positivity back and keep the vibes high so check it out. We got a new artist submission on our hands that goes by the name of Ura Sensei. Ura is a Chicago native and has influences from Kanye West, Playboi Carti, Japanese rap, KenJ2Hi* & Blac Samurai. The rapper tells me he is into a lot of anime but music is definitely his passion. One thing that really stood out is that he isn't too much interested in being famous and to me, that's so rare nowadays. It also comes off humble and this sheds light on how you would view Ura. I'm going to jump right in and talk about the track submitted called Ghostin' Us ft KenJ2Hi*. The song gives off some serious Asian influenced with a hint of trap vibes. It's really smooth and I peeped some of the anime references as well all know a large community can relate but not only that there are also some pop culture references so if you never heard of him your interest will peek. I actually really like this song and both parts of it may be the second more because of the switch up form how it started but overall this is a track id keep in my playlist. I do think we need to hear more from Ura sensei to see how he will last in this game but check him out below and let me know what you guys think.

I don’t think it’s a hoax but I do think it’s sad it took a virus to make people wash their hands regularly.

What would you do if you weren't rapping?

I’d be producing.

Who do think sucks in the mainstream industry and why? 

No one, I wouldn’t say they suck but their music doesn’t have that type of effect on me that it does on others. Do I think some artists in the mainstream are getting finessed and should've sticked to being independent? Yes.
